IMG-0012.zip: a virus for MSN Messenger

Some of my MSN buddies have been infected by this trojan, that spreads itself to the whole contact-list of their MSN Live Messenger, automatically sending the infected IMG-0012.zip file.
This trojan disguises itself as a photo album; in the middle of a conversation, the infected IMG-0012.zip file will be sent to the buddy you’re talking to.
As far as I have seen, two solutions worked for my friends (first of all, remember to close MSN Messenger, that could “lock” some infected files):
- using AVG Antivirus Free Edition for a full System Scan after you have updated it (in Safe Mode);
- downloading and executing the MSN Fix script;
After that, you should search for “IMG-0012.zip” (with Start / Search) and delete manually any file the Windows Search find.
This should easily fix the IMG-0012.zip problem; for the next time, remember to be more cautious: as Paolo Attivissimo says, in his #8 rule:
Don’t immediately open unexpected attachments, from any of your contacts, even if the antivirus says ther’re not infected.
